No junk removal happening here! This day is all about building not removing. McJunks family team member, Rachel, will be volunteering at the Habitat for Humanities Women’s Build on June 20, 2012. If you are a woman (sorry guys this is chick thing only this time) and have a skill you would like to give away to help someone, please join her there!
Now, we know that there are many of you out there that have skills. We are talking about crafts, expertise, and general know how. Why not use this knowledge and skill to help someone in need. Rachel isn’t much of a carpenter but she has a caring attitude and is willing do whatever she can to make this house into a home for the family in need. He is a brief description of what the Women’s Build is all about:
By Habitat for Humanity
Women Build is a national effort to build homes that are funded and constructed by women. By providing a female friendly work site, our Women Build project empowers women to take leadership roles in construction and learn new skills while building a home for a hardworking family in need of safe, affordable housing.
